Drei Mal im Jahr für etwas mehr als vier Wochen findet in Hamburg der Dom statt; nämlich im Frühling (Mitte März bis Mitte April), im Sommer (Ende Juli bis Ende August) und im Herbst/Winter (Anfang November bis Anfang Dezember).
Der Dom ist das größte Volksfest im Norden und befindet sich auf dem Heiligengeistfeld, eingebettet von den U-Bahn-Stationen St. Pauli, Feldstraße (beide U3), Messehallen (U2) sowie dem Millerntor-Stadion.
Eine so feste Institution verdient natürlich auch ihren Platz bei mir, so daß ich heute mal einen der Eingänge präsentieren möchte. Das dynamisch geschwungene Dach der U-Bahn-Station direkt nebenan darf dabei selbstverständlich auch nicht fehlen, so daß ich es gleich integriert habe.
Daß die Rikscha dort zu der Zeit ebenfalls stand, hat mich natürlich auch sehr gefreut.
Three times a year for about for weeks the Dom, a fun fair, takes place in Hamburg – that is in Spring (middle of March until middle of April), Summer (end of July until End of August) and Autumn/Winter (beginning of November ’til beginning of December).
Dom is the biggest fun fair in Northern Germany and located on the Heiligengeistfeld, directly at the subway/underground stations St. Pauli, Feldstraße (both line U3) and Messehallen (line U2) and the Millerntor-Stadion (Millerntor Stadium).
Such an event deserves to be mentioned on this blog so today it’s a picture of one of the entrances that I show you. The dynamically rolling roof of the subway/underground station is included as well.
Of course I was also happy for the rickshaw being there.
